DP has become a buzz word at Daytona among a certain crowd.
Image from motorsport.com as you can’t find any other decent pics via GIS.

Its like a curse word around this site, and the argument is “WELL THEY ARE SO OUTDATED SO THEY SUCK AND SHOULD DIE A FIERY DEATH”. Technology doesn’t automatically =better. I don’t get it.
Those early DP fields were awesome when the chassis wars were going on. Riley, Lola, Multimatic, Fabcar, Coyote.
The Fabcar was the best looking of that era. I like when manufacturers integrated design cues from the road car into the DP bodies like the current Corvette DP

Cool! If you have time hit F terminal and grab a frosted orange from the Varsity. Have a good flight.

I got Charlotte and Atlanta confused, because I was in Charlotte.
